Snail Mail Possibilities and Procedures

So here is how to reach us snail mail while we're over in the UK. I make no guarentees about the British Postal System... Addresses are listed below the instructions.

  • Send all mail AIRMAIL or it will take up to 5 weeks to get there.
  • Even with airmail, allow 10 days before we arrive at the stop. Check the schedules posted on the main page to figure out where we'll be and when we'll be there. The adresses below also say roughly when we'll be picking up the mail.June July
  • Mark all letters "Hold for 30 days" or "Post Restante".
  • This one is a biggie. Because you're actually sending mail to an American Express office (they have this nifty mail hold service for cardholders) the mail has to be addressed to someone who has an American Express card. For our group, that's Jaime Hensel. So ADDRESS ALL MAIL TO JAIME HENSEL and we'll figure out who it actually belongs to once we get the letters.
  • That is, if there are any letters. The other way to contact us is through email, which we will have access to some of the time. Just use Ari, Jaime, Jane or Tucker's regular email addresses. Webmail is a beautiful thing.

  • Edinburgh (June 9th pickup): Jaime Hensel c/o; American Express Foreign Exchange; 139 Princes Street; Edinburgh, UK EH2 4BR

Glasgow (June 12th pickup): Jaime Hensel c/o; American Express Foreign Exchange; 115 Hope Street; UK G2 6LX

London (July 6th pickup): Jaime Hensel c/o; American Express Foreign Exchange; 30-31 Haymarket; London, UK SW1Y 4EX
