Due
to the lack of consumer businesses that gay men can identify or
associate with, and the absence of a diverse men's cosmetic line
on the market, I have spent seven years conducting in depth research
and product development to create a line of personal care products
that caters to the needs of gay men. And, we all know gay men have
needs!
BOY
COSMETICS, INCORPORATED is a versatile cosmetics company that offers
top of the line fragrances, facial cosmetics, hair products, and
body and bath care designed with the gay males interests, needs,
and health in mind.
BCI
products feature high quality ingredients that are backed by extensive
clinical studies that confirm their effectiveness. We take great
pride in our product which include: vitamins A, E, and C; ginseng
extract; rose hip extract; green tea extract; jojoba; rosemary;
watercress; Dead Sea salts; red marine algae; and essential oils
like avocado and almond. We use no petroleum oils, and our products
are allergy tested (never animal tested) and hypoallergenic.
BCI
knows the proof is in our product.
As
a gay man and a makeup artist of 11 years, I know that most men's
cosmetic lines are limited and cover only basic shaving and skin
care needs. While working for some of the top cosmetic companies
in the world, I spent my time being trained on the clinical aspects
of care products. After testing products made for women on myself
for several years, it seemed odd to me that some of the most amazing
products were only being produced for women. Why should men be
overlooked?
The
benefits and effects of their products, and the lack of cosmetic
line that men can identify with was the inspiration for BCI. Although
BCI is not the first cosmetics company to offer a line of identification
for gay men, BCI is the first to offer a broad range of cosmetics
and care products.
Through
my research, I realized the largest portion of the consumers of
men's products were gay men. Gay men are spending millions of dollars
every year on cosmetic businesses that do not contribute actively
to the gay community. I felt it necessary to create a company that
cares about its consumers, the gay community. It was time for a
change.
BCI
will: be active in the community and participate in pride events;
contribute to AIDS charities and other organizations; be involved
with gay youth organizations.
It's
time for gay men everywhere to stop making that late night, under
cover trips to the drug store, and raiding their mothers and sisters
cosmetics drawers. Be out. Be Proud. Be beautiful inside and out.
You
now have a cosmetics company that's all your own: Boy Cosmetics
Incorporated.
Real
men wear makeup.
Devotedly,
