Waycross Georgia Fire Station One
Why: In remembrance of
our fallen brothers who lost their lives in the September 11th tragedy
in New York! Also to raise money to help build a local firefighter
memorial here in Waycross at the newly built and opened fire station
one.
How Much: Each cyclist
is encouraged to turn in a $100 fundraising commitment before the
tour starts the ride.
The
ride will begin at or as near 7:00 at the Waycross Fire Department
Station One in Waycross Georgia. The bike riders will depart and
travel through downtown Waycross out Knight Avenue and across to
US1 take the bike route out US1 South to Highway 177 entrance to
the Okefenokee Swamp Park. After a visit to the World Famous Okefenokee
Swamp Park and lunch the riders will make the trip back to the starting
location the Waycross Fire Station One.
