Ms. Tracey
is beginning her 16th year of Girl Scouts, 14 of those as a leader. She truly believes her "calling in life" is mentoring girls of all ages! She loves camping, arts and crafts, reading, cooking, patch collecting, genealogy (family history), and of course Girl Scouts! She received Girl Scout of the Year with Sleepy Hollow in 2008. Also, she has received Leader of the Month for September 2003, January 2003, December 2001, September 2000, and December 1998. She served on the Sleepy Hollow Service Unit Team for three years. The best thing to her about scouting is being with the girls!

Seabiscuit (Lorren)
will begin her 14th year of Girl Scouts. She loves making friends, reading, horses, playing her violin, and Girl Scouts. She was involved with the Civil Air Patrol, played the violin for the SCHS Orchestra and GA Youth Symphony Orchestra, and was an equestrian instructor at Camp Pine Acres. She received Senior Girl Scout of the Month for September 2008 for helping new high school Freshmen (who are also Girl Scouts) find their classes on the first day of school. Also, she helped a new Brownie Girl Scout at the pool party by being with her because she did not know how to swim. She received Girl Scout of the Year with Sleepy Hollow for 2008. She received Cadette Scout of the Month for April 2007 for her enthusiam and dedication in scouting. She received Cadette Scout of the Month in September 2005 for her involvement in scouting. She promoted the equestrian program to Girl Scouts and leaders. She received Cadette Scout of the Month in October 2004 for her enthusiastic attitude, dedication, and helpfulness at events; Junior Scout of the Month in January 2003 for her participation in a bridging ceremony for Brownies; Brownie Scout of the Month for October 2000 for teaching new girls in her troop about scouting; and Brownie Scout of the Month in August 1999 for recruiting new Brownies and teaching them about Girl Scouts during the summer. She is beginning her college year at Middle Georgia College.

Penguin (Kelsey)
will begin her 14th year of scouting. She received Cadette Scout of the Month in November 2004 for her community service. She served as our Junior Team representative for the 2003 - 2004. She loves horses and Girl Scouts! She has worked with at Camp Timber Ridge as a counselor. She has begun classes at Georgia Highlands College.
Latrice is starting her 3rd year of scouts.

Tyeisha is starting her 4th year of scouts. She is into cheerleading.

Aniah is starting her 3rd year of scouts.

Brooke is starting her 6th year of scouts. She loves to dance.

Trinity is starting her 4th year of scouts.

Taniah is starting her 4th year of scouts.

Tiara is starting her 2nd year of scouts.

Hillarie is starting her 6th year of scouts.

Troop Awards


2008 - 2009 Year
March 2009: Troop 625 received Troop of the Month for March 2009.

2007 - 2008 Year
December 2007: Troop 625 received Troop of the Month for December 2007.

2005 - 2006 Year
April 2006: Troop 625 received Troop of the Month for April 2006. We received the award for our ongoing service to FBCM (our meeting place) and for our "go go go" attitude. We have branched out into different directions by doing more activities on the troop and council levels.

2002 - 2003 Year
September 2002: Troop 625 received Troop of the Month for September 2002. We received this award for the community service we have performed and our camping spirit. We have helped a troop who have had cookie issues. We did not lose our camping spirit when our Assistant Leader Ms. Kathy fell and broke her leg. We could have just called it "quits", but instead, "toughed" it out.

2001 - 2002 Year
March 2002: Troop 625 received Troop of the Month for March 2002. We received this award for the community service we have performed, the scouting attitude that we carry, and the "non-stop" action that goes on with this troop. We are a very active troop and we never stop having fun.

2000 - 2001 Year
September 2000: Troop 625 received Troop of the Month for September 2000. We received this award for our Meals on Wheels cards and the cards we made for a Junior Girl Scout in Texas who recently lost her mother.

November 2000: We received a Certificate of Thanks from Sleepy Hollow for our donation of Thanksgiving food items. FBC of Mableton also sent to us a letter of thanks for the food items we gave to them. These items went to a family that we sponsored for Thanksgiving.
