I'm Stephen, a 23 year old guitarist/bassist from LaFayette, GA. This picture of me was taken sometime in 2000. I am jamming in my studio, Flash Studios. My major influences musically are Pink Floyd, Collective Soul, Another Man Down, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steep, Jimi Hendrix, and Rush (there are many, many more, but it would fill the entire page if I went on).

As far as gear goes, I like Hiwatt and Fender tube amps. I have a Hiwatt Bulldog 30R 30 watt solid state amp, and a Fender Princeton Chorus, as well. I am planning on getting a Hiwatt DR 504 Head (50Watt Tube) and a Marshall 2x12 cabinet soon. But, my main amp--my baby--is my Fender Twin. The Evil Twin. And let me tell you, She rocks hard. Switchable 100Watt/25Watt power blazing through 2 12" speakers...whoa...Even on 25Watts, this thing is unbelievably loud.

I tend to buy mostly Roland/Boss effects, and I have a Vox wah pedal. My stomp boxes include: Boss--Metal Zone, Distortion, Turbo Overdrive, GE-7 Equilizer; Sovtek--Big Muff; MXR--Phase 90; DOD--Digital Delay (I don't like this pedal much anymore...not a really good delay). I hope to get a Univibe soon, and I need to get an Ibanez Tubescreamer. I'd really like to get a Bradshaw Switching system, or simply make my own switching system.

As far as guitars go, I like Fender Stratocasters. I also like a few PRS guitars, like the Swamp Ash Special and the Archtop. In this picture, I'm jamming on my '68 Reissue Strat (hotrodded with Texas Special Pickups).

The '68 is actually my second guitar. My main axe is a 1957 Vintage Reissue Strat. It is Fiesta Red, and hopefully, I'll be able to spice it up soon. I plan to "Gilmour-ize" it by putting in 3 EMG SA Active Single Coils in it, along with the EXG and SPC controls.
