  1. www.ldonline.com This website is an interactive guide to learning disabilities.  They have discussion boards, links, and many other helpful resources.  This website is designed for children, parents, and teachers to help facilitate a learning environment for these students.
  2. http://studentswholearn.fawco.org The information on this website was compiled from studies by the Educational Support Committee of the Federation of American Women’s Clubs Overseas.  These women were living overseas and had to find adequate accommodations for their children to learn because they were in a non-English speaking country.  “Students Who Learn Differently” is an attempt to help fill that void by researching accommodations, rights, and resources that should be made available to our learning differently students, parents, and their educators.
  3. www.add-adhd.org This website offers educational information for those diagnosed with ADD-ADHD or for those parents of children with these disabilities.  Also the website has other special related services linked to it as well.  It offers advice and support through discussion boards, and has links to gadgets and software that will help the person diagnosed with the disability.
  4. www.cast.org This website was created by the Center for Applied Special Technologies.  They are dedicated to the “creation of computer software and learning models that are useable by everyone.”
  5. www.inspiration.com This website is for children with organizational difficulties.  K-3 should use Kidspiration while older students should use Inspiration.  Your LD student could be bursting with creative thought and have no idea how to put it into words, which leaves them feeling frustrated and disappointed.  This program an help these children by giving kids a fun way to capture their ideas as they brainstorm, by arranging their ideas in graphic organizers.  With one mouse click they can transform the ideas in their graphic organizers into outline form.
