What is this? What are those things poking out of the ground? Riant thought to himself, gazing upon the mountains that lay before him. Pretty...
Riant walked towards the mountains, his legs still recovering after he collapsed. What was that I just saw? Who was that tiny girl with the wings? Riant continued asking such questions in his thoughts, hoping they will be answered soon while dragging himself along the trail.
Where am I? It feels like I've been here before... How did I even get here? Riant thought, completely forgetting that he actually chose to go into the mountains.
What's that sound? It's like when I saw my face in the gooey stuff. Riant ran ahead and saw a large waterfall crashing into a nearby river. Riant cautiously walked over to it, but he suddenly felt weak again. No...Not again! Suddenly, Riant fell to the floor.
"Sir! Excuse me sir!" Myna shouted as her savior was walking down the same path she was.
"Yes? What do you want?"
"Who are you? Why did you save me?" she asked.
"My name is Jeremyriantho Elf-son." Myna's grew large as he turned to her.
"I...I didn't get a word of that. Did you just say your name was Jerry Elvis?"
"J...Jerry Elvis?! Did you just call me Jerry Elvis?! It's JEREMYRIANTHO ELF-SON!!!!!!!" the man yelled in fury.
"I swear! You're not using real words!" Myna screamed back.
"You're right! It's not Human! The name is Elven!" the man shouted. He then sighed, scratching his head. "But if you need to refer to me as a Human name, then Jeremy will do."
"There! Was that so hard?" Myna asked. "Look, the name's not important now! Why did you save..."
"What are you talking about? The name is important!! I have a name and it's JEREMYRIANTHO!!!" he interrupted.
"But you just said you wanted to be called Jeremy," Myna squeaked.
"YOU call me Jeremy. That's a name for you to remember!"
"Quit shouting!"
"Prince Riant! Look at me!" the little blonde girl shouted.
It's that girl I saw before!
"Myna! What are you doing?" the boy asked.
That boy? Is that...me?
"Watch this!" little Myna asked. She looked like she was 7 years old. She ran across the field and flipped into a nearby stream.
"Hey! That looks easy! I wanna try!" the boy said. The boy ran across the field, but then little Myna grabbed a stick by the edge of the river and stuck in out. The boy tripped over the stick and flipped into the water. "OW! That hurt! Why did you do that?!"
Boy, I would hate to be that kid.
"You would do it wrong if you didn't trip over the stick!"
"Myna! Riant!"
"Mommy! We're over here," the boy shouted, waving at the woman.
Hey! I saw her before! She was the one with the tiny girl!
"I tripped him with the stick!" Myna laughed, waving her stick.
"You two crack me up. Dinner's ready. Time to get out."
"Yes mommy," the boy replied.
"Yes Queen Amaldia!" the girl replied.
"Myna, you don't have to be forma with me. You can call me 'mommy' too if you want."
"OK mommy!"
That woman...my mother...Amaldia?
"Huh? Where am I?" Riant asked aloud, noticing he's conscious again. He saw he was behind the waterfall. He gazed around and noticed a little rainbow light fly around his head. He held out his hand and the light simmered. There stood a little woman no bigger than the size of his palm. She had golden wings and golden hair that match. She had a red shimmering tunic on and crystal-blue eyes.
"Hello Riant. It is good to see thy Prince again," the little woman said.
"Who are you? Wait! Aren't you the little girl I saw before. The one with the wings?" She nodded, knowing what he was talking about. After all, she was his guardian.
"Yes Riant. And I know what has happened. The Blank Mage has taken the queen and thou is out to retrieve her. That is thy quest."
"Blank Mage? Who's he?"
"Oh dear! You lost thy memory!" the woman gasped. "Well then, thou shall start slow. My name is Liami. I am your guardian faerie. I watch out for thee."
"Liami? I think I remember you..."
