Speech and Hearing

Since 1965, the Speech and Hearing Program has been providing diagnostic evaluation and treatment services for children and adults who have any type of speech, language, or hearing disorder. After an evaluation, a treatment plan and a home carry over plan are established for each individual. Referrals are accepted, but not necessary.

Some disorders treated include articulation (speech sounds), language, fluency (stuttering) voice, dysphagia (swallowing difficulties).

All professional staff hold licensure by the State of Georgia and certification by the American Speech-Language- Hearing Association. The clinical program is accredited by the Professional Services Board of the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and is the only accredited clinic in Georgia.
