| Welcome Now that the election is over it is time to start building the Libertarian party in Georgia. You can find the new website for Middle Georgia Libertarians here. Middle Georgia Friends Of Harry Browne is an organization working to help elect Harry Browne as the Libertarian candidate for US President in 2000. We will be working on local events to help raise awareness of Harry's campaign and the Libertarian party in Middle Georgia. Art Olivier is Harry Browne's vice presidential running mate. Thomson Named Volunteer of the Year by the
Browne2000 staff
A
special award was given to Tony Thompson, of Metter, during the Election Night
Gala on November 7th. He was named the Volunteer of the Year by the
Browne2000 staff. Thompson was unable to attend the event, but Tracee
Avery of Atlanta accepted the award in his place. It will be officially
presented to him at the Bibb County Libertarian Party meeting on November 14.
Mr. Thompson was also previously named Volunteer of the Week for the week of
May 13 to May 19.
Michael Quinn Named Volunteer of the Week! Michael Quinn, webmaster of the Middle Georgia Friends of Harry Browne was recognized by the national campaign office as the volunteer of the week. I think he should also get an award for keen fashion sense! Stephen Gordon Named Volunteer of the Week! Steve Gordon was recognized by the national campaign office as one of the volunteers of the week. Steve worked countless hours to help make the "More than Gore" Rally a success. He also coordinated the formation of the new Libertarian Party of Bibb County. Good Job Steve! Meet Other Local Libertarians Join us for the next regular meeting of the Libertarian Party of Bibb County. We will meet the 2nd Tuesday of every month. This meeting is open to everyone, not just the residents of Bibb County. Additional county parties will be formed soon. Click here for more details.
