I'd much rather use the light of the sun
Than the light of a lamp

than a kitchen faucet
" " " listen to the sounds of birds
than a blasting stereo
" " " be poor & happy
than rich & sad
" " " be me
than someone they all want me to be
" " " be your love
than your friend
But I'd rather be your friend
Than your nobody
I'd much rather be with you right now
