Thank you, Tina

Although its a joyous time of the year, it is a sad time for myself and my brother Bill and two sisters, Rose, and Sharon. You see, we just lost our mother Oct.29 of 1999. So Easter and Mother's Day are not so happy for us. We always shared these and every holiday together. It was one year ago on Easter that mom became ill. Later in the week we found out she had cancer. Seven months later she passed on to a better life with no suffering.
She was always so full of life and loved her sewing and plants, cooking, and baking. She also kept a daily journal so we would always know what the weather was like on that given day or any important day such as birthdays, etc. She was eighty years old but still drove her car and did whatever she had to do.
Her favorite pastime was sewing. She made many, many different things. She has made afghans, quilts, and pillows. We all have many things around us to remind us how talented she was.

I guess I wanted to write this in her memory and to help heal us of our loss. We will sure miss her cooking on this Easter and those beautiful pies she made us. Of course there is so much more to say but as time goes by I will add more. It is just too sad when we lose are dear mothers no matter how old we are. Nobody can ever replace your mother. I only hope everyone will be happy sharing these holidays with their mothers because we don't get to keep them forever.
Wishing all the mothers a very Happy Easter
and Happy Mothers Day.
