About me.
Originally from Tennessee, I moved to Atlanta to attend Emory University. I graduated from Emory with a BA in Economics. After several unfulfilling jobs I finally found the career for me. My first teaching position was at the Brandon Hall School in Dunwoody. There I taught General Mathematics, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Analysis/Trigonometry for two and a half years at the high school and middle school level. My second teaching position was at The Lullwater School in Decatur. At Lullwater, I taught on the middle school level for a two years. In the summer of 1999, I went back to school to get my Masters. My high school student teaching was at Grady High School under the tenure of Mr. Boon C. Boonyapat. I graduated from Georgia State University with a Masters in Math Education in the summer of 2000.
