You can have romance, you can have love, without sex. If you can't, then maybe it's not love. Maybe it's not romantic.
One of the things that movies, television and cultural ideas don't teach is that sex comes with responsibility. - First of all, you should never have sex unless your ready to pay for the doctor's bills for any STD, AIDs included~you can't depend on society to pay those debts.
- Second, you should never have sex unless you are ready to raise a child. Pay for the raising of a child
- that includes day care.
- That includes medical expenses.
- That includes not finishing school on time~or not having the job you want.
- Spend time in raising a child. WITHOUT passing them off on your parent~or worse~your grandparent. God created Grandparents to love. They need to be free to do so, or children are the ones who loose out. A grandparent is there to give memories, smiles, and to love unconditinally. They shouldn't have to discipline. That should be part of a parent's responsibility.
One of the things I come across as a teacher is grandparents coming in for conferences. I never see the parents. One time I had a grandparent come in and she was also caring for her great granddaughter. Is it a surprise that her grandchild was in trouble?
Sex is a beautiful thing. But don't loose perspective. God gives us guidelines, one woman, one man~that's only to protect us. And not just us. Christ put special value in children. Don't think that He still doesn't.
