Todd Warshaw

To members of Aviv and Parents -

My name is Todd Warshaw. I am a native Atlantan and grew up in BBYO when I was a teen. For the past two years I have been an adult advisor to Aviv. I got involved in this because it was my way of giving back to the Jewish community. To me this is more satisfying then any other way of helping the Atlanta Jewish community. At 32 years old, spending time with teenagers has actually been a refreshing change from my day to day busy life. I have become friends with many of our kids and have started to feel as though I have many "little brothers". There is something very special about our Jewish youth and I have come to appreciate it more by working with these kids. During the 2000 - 2001 year I am excited about the newly elected board for Aviv. I am already impressed by the effort of this board and look for great things to come as we plan for the year. My main goals as an advisor are to help the kids improve communication to all chapter members as well as making sure we have strong turnouts for all programs, especially from are younger members. These are the goals that I will be pushing for all year long. My job as an advisor is not to run the show, but to be a sounding board and source of information for all of the kids. Myself are my CO-advisor will attend ALL chapter programs. My commitment to these kids is very strong and I hope that in some small way, I can be a positive role-model for all of the kids in our chapter. I look forward to a fun and successful year.
