Stealing underpants is big business!
I offer you a proposition! As we all know (or not), "This Book Will Change Your Love Life" will be out in November. Much like I've done with "This Book Will Change Your Life," my plans thus far are to follow along with it here on AO. This is where you come in. Join me! That's right... I'd like to get another person or two to sign into the blog and post YOUR entries. No worries about being prompt every day... it's obviously no big deal to me, seeing how I go for a week at a time without updating. You can sign in and post it yourself when you get the urge. If you're interested, let me know! And if I *have* a love life, that'll make the blog that much more fun.

Speaking of which, This Book Will Change Andy's Life is updated.

Also new: TWELVE new pictures in Photos That Didn't Make The Cut. Eight of those are classic Andy pictures, some of which have never been online before! (And most of them are blurry... that'll be fixed at a later date.)

I did part two of the "celebrity crush" thing in Five by Five, too. Anticlimatic. Lost interest. Oops.

Spring's hottest fashion trend for men: pink. If Andre 3000 can pull it off...

NASA has discovered a $565 billion accounting mistake. Oops... how'd THAT get by.

GNOME STORY! Man has to cover up naked gnomes... sorrow ensues.

The Subserviant Chicken doesn't do mainstream. Well, you know, except for an article on CNN.com.

The sausage whacked at the Brewers game last night has announced her retirement. Yes, you read that right. And no, I did not mean THAT.

GOOSE STORY! Geese in Canada don't have the bird flu. So they flew away. (da-da-dum!)

'Cause you're everywhere to me
Now Playing: Michelle
Only two goodies for you today, but at least they're good goodies (compared to bad goodies or bad baddies)!

First, we have today's entry in This Book'll Change Andy's Life. Yay!

And in this corner, it's the new Random Assorted Nonsense page, with the first bit of RAN... a review of the Shrek 2 cereal! Yes!

Sadly, this feature doesn't include the voice of Eddie Murphy. Even more sadly, it doesn't include the voice of... you know it's coming... CHARLIE MURPHY!

Time after time
Now Playing: Yeah, the Lauper
I've had a sudden giant surge of visits in the last two days - 80 unique visits Wednesday and 30 more Thursday. Hey everybody, wherever you're coming out of the woodwork from! Make a boy happy and say hi in the guestbook!

Up new and now, it's This Book Will Change Andy's Life entries for Day 125 (Your Stars Day) and today, Day 126 (Consumer Rights Day).

Coming soon: Following in the footsteps of the popular reviews of the Mud & Bugs and SpongeBob cereals, I'll review the new Shrek 2 cereal! I've also found a folder full of over a hundred photos, taken mostly by me. You'll get some of those, or at least some of the ones of me. I'll also do the weekly Friday Five in "Five by Five" and do part two of the celebrity hottie talk in the same area. Stay tuned!

Not for individual sale

Now Playing: 'Laid'
I have the most ignored guestbook in the world. I'm just saying, that's all... :)

I'm on the ball with this updating thing! Today's entry in This Book Will Change Andy's Life is up! Today would be Day 125... Parrot Day!

Also up, your daily dose of Photos Not Deemed Worthy Enough To Make The Cut. Five of 'em. One has me in it.

Great clip from the Daily Show today on the website. The war has been over for a year now! Mission accomplished!

The chief of the Secret Service is eyeballing a proposal to include women in possible future drafts. Oh, and to extend the top age from 25 to 34.

The new MOJO magazine features the top 100 protest songs of all time. Can't find it online yet, but pick up a copy (Lennon on the cover... I'll have one I can give away in a few days).

Disney is forbidding distribution of Michael Moore's upcoming new film.

I can't wait for Thursday so the last "Friends" will air so people will shut up about it already. Magazines have been promoting this thing for two months now. It's like "Sex & The City" trauma all over again. (Nothing against S&TC... it was a fun show, at least the first season. I haven't seen anything past that. But really, you try working at a bookstore and having their faces on six different weekly magazines for about eight weeks straight... it'll drive you nuts.)

Homeless gnomes are gathering dust in France. I think my new goal is to find a gnome link for every update.

Dixie Chick Martie Maguire (the one with the fiddle) had twins with her teacher husband.

Now Playing: 'We Be Tryin' To Stay Alive' by Wyclef

Here's a good new feature for you... The Books I've Read in 2004, complete with pretty pictures and what I think of 'em.

Speaking of books, This Book Will Change Andy's Life has been updated with Snooping Day, Sense-less Day #2, No Money Day, and No TV Weekend.

Go ahead and brace yourself now, because with the release of this book, you KNOW it's coming... This Book Will Change Andy's Love Life. Oh boy. THAT should be an interesting year of posts. You know, having a love life would be a good start.

Please welcome Photos That Didn't Make The Cut #3, continuing the tradition with eight new and exciting images of rain, cats, and a disco superstar.

Want to add to the Andy becomes a teacher education fund? andyBay is the place for you... bid on my crap!

Al Franken... Senator in '08? I'd vote for him (if I was in a location where I could, which I'm not).

I'm really, really not cool with all of the torture of the Iraqis, and the fact that there might be more of it that we haven't been shown yet. And our country finds ways to look even worse...

I continue to advise you towards Antiwar.com for all of the headlines. There's also the counter by the same folks seen down on the left somewhere here.

Kinda cool to see Tina Fey's movie come in first. Mmm... Tina Fey. What a funny woman. Not bad on the eyes, either.

Woohoo! The Simpsons cast salary dispute has been ended. Bring on the funny!

In something that'll freak out at least one person I know, a model tripled her weight to win the Jumbo Queen competition.

Sesame Street is coming to Afghanistan. After a few weeks of Elmo, tensions will rise even more...

I keep threatening to buy a lawn gnome... maybe I'll buy one of these.

Here's the new Batman. You know what that suit needs? Nipples.

The big books today are all about butts: Walter, Captain Underpants, Psycho Butts... though none of them are as good as Everyone Poops.

DMB news: The planned DMB Festival in New York has been cancelled. Dave's newest video, a live video with Trey Anastasio and Orchestra Baobob singing "So Damn Lucky" on the streets of Dakur, has been released.

Though I didn't give it that much praise at first (having listened to a song and a half), I'm really enjoying "Rock Against Bush Vol. One." Vol. Two is already in the works. The Foo Fighters are remaking "Gas Chamber," while also contributing are No Doubt, Green Day, and others. And to answer the question I really couldn't yesterday, profits are going towards advertising against Bush (MoveOn and such). There's also a tour in progress.

Bill Clinton's upcoming book is raising both hopes and doubts. I'll be picking up a copy the day it comes out, and get myself my additional 20% off of it. Woohoo! (And since it'll probably come out at 30% off, that's half price... bookstore employee ISN'T always bad...)

The Counting Crows have a new song that's the first single off the upcoming Shrek 2 soundtrack. Some people might be interested to know that the soundtrack also includes both Tom Waits and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.

In sad news, Augusta, GA has delayed the unveiling of its James Brown statue.

In what might be the most bland concert ever, Brad Paisley and John Mayer have done an episode of CMT Crossroads together (to their credit, I like one song by each). It's surely not as good as Crossroads classic pairings like Dave & Emmylou, The Chicks & James Taylor, Ryan Adams & Elton John, or Elvis Costello & Lucinda Williams. I am equally as scared to read that the next Crossroads has been taped, and it's... Wynonna and the group Heart. Ouch.

Word life
New for you! We have five days worth of TBWCAL entries. Fun stuff!

And then we have two brand new Five by Five entries, one that's half of a two-parter and the other that's the weekly Friday Five!

And in this corner, Andy's (incomplete) Music Archives!

And finally, in corner four, ten new Photos That Didn't Make The Cut!

Anonymous #1 (made the Mr. T and Norah banner, not the Family Guy one) just threw four more banners my way, one of which you see at the top. You can see 'em all in the Banner Bonanza. Come on gang and make me some more! (And pretend making doesn't count.)
