This poem was read at Georgiana's funeral on November 30, 2000.
It is written by Justine Brown and her family.
Justine was inpatient many times with Georgiana
from August through October.
Justine also continues her fight with Lymphoma and is doing well.
Hold On
I know you feel empty
I know you're distraught
Please try to remember
It's not God's fault
You're wondering why God would take her away
You think "what's the use, why bother to pray?"
God heard your prayers,
He just said "No."
It ws your little one's time
She had to go.
I know it's really hard for you to understand,
But just hold on to God's unchanging hand.
Don't lose your faith
Continue to pray.
Your baby's an Angel,
She'll be okay.
She's in God's arms being rocked to sleep
It's okay for you to mourn and weep.
Get it all out,
Then get plenty of rest.
Please try to remember,
God knows what's best.
