ANDERSONVILLE CIVIL WAR PRISON

Hi, If this is your first time visiting my website I want to thank you and let you know a little about myself. My name is Kevin Frye and I live about 40 miles from the infamous Andersonville ( Camp Sumter ) and I do Volunteer research at the site. I also take grave photos for a small fee. If there is anything I can do for anyone looking for information on an ancestor who was held at Andersonville of died at the site. Please email me and I will do what I can in finding what you require.

My resources are as follows.

I have access to online databases which allow me to lookup by Name or by Regiment and Company. I will be adding links to it as I rebuild my site.

I own a copy of the Atwater Death list which helps me at times when the online database is down.

I have a CD with records of 34000 names of the 54000 prisoners who were held there. This helps me look for alternate spellings that may not be shown in the online site.

I visit the site every other week or so which gives me access to the onsite database as well as the extensive files in the museum library
