Gerald Harmons Lx goes wheels up at Montgomery fun ford weekend! Gerald is a good bud of mine who has helped me with my car. He hails from Valley,Alabama. This 89 lx sports a Chris Johnson built 306 with ported TFS TW heads,custom cam,ported Holley intake, and a Vortech YS-trim. This car is totally streetable and has run a best et of 10.06@138 with a Tremec 5 speed none the less! Bad ass car Gerald!
Thanks for visiting my page. I'm just getting started with this html stuff so my page is pretty basic now. My name is Conrad Shankar and i'm known as ConradS-351lx on the corral which i frequent the most. Here is a pic of my car launching at silver dollar raceway. Basically the mild 351 ran mid 12s all day long at around 110. Not bad but with the new intake and cam should hopefully put the car in the 11s. Check out the mods section for the new combo.
UPDATE:(08/20/02) Its been a while since i updated the site. I did get the new ported heads and intake installed on my mustang. After a bit of tuning issues it made 26 more rwhp and 11 more ft/lbs. It was a pretty good performance gain. I finally hit an 11 second et as well. At Silver dollar i ran 11.97@114.7 mph. I sold the nitrous and will probably be keeping the engine naturally aspirated. New mods will be coming soon so stay tuned! 2 new cars will be joining the JRD team! My 1990 Laser RS turbo which is currently my daily driver and an 1986 Ford mustang GT owned by Jimmy Hunt a good friend of mine! I will be getting pics up soon
