HOW TO SELL YOUR COLLECTION VIA VINYLSHOP

You may have a large personal collection of records/cds, or just a few you wish to be rid of (dealers are also welcome to partake).

Whatever the case, Vinylshop offer a unique service for unwanted music items.

Simply send us your lists of items (in either .txt or .xls, any problems with these files, let us know) via e-mail, quoting the artist, title, format and the price you wish to obtain for the item.

You should also provide a grading for the item - if you use 'record collector' magazine this is best, as it provides details for grading record sleeves, vinyl & CD - please be as accurate as possible when grading

Once we receive your lists we will check and occasional alter the content to reflect the format required. The lists will then be put through a formula - this increases the price you wish to recieve, in order to cover advertising costs, charges for credit cards, costs of shipping between you and us and of course a % payment for us.

We will then advertise your items and e-mail you when an item sells. We can then purchase the item from you and supply it to the customer. When you recieve your payment from us, please ensure that the items are sent to us in reasonable time, packing with cardboard and the required packaging.

Unfortunately we do not offer this service to people selling 'general' 78's. As these are ultra hard to pack and get to us safely and frequently break in transit. Of course rarities are an exception adn we will arrange the desired shipping for these items.

VINYLSHOP reserves the right to discontinue advertising, reject applicants or alter certain listings to comply with the format we require.
