Face to face and heart to heart,
Nothing could keep the couple apart.
Arguements too numerous to count
Was still an insuffiencent amount
To destroy their loyalty to each other.
Perfection is not what makes a lover.
He was a workaholic and she was lazy.
Many said those two getting together was crazy.
Somehow they proved such people wrong
Because deep inside they heard the same song.
While some couples through the day tried to race,
They would still talk face to face.

Struggles with money both of them knew.
Neither of them knew what to do.
If their own view was not clear,
Advice from others both of them could hear.
Listening to each other they were inspired
So their listening skill was aquired.
Valuable time to spend together
Did not depend on the time or the weather.
Places to meet were always found
Giving them more common ground.
Money and time could never replace
Being together, face to face.
