GUESTS By ... Steve Lucky Recently into their friend's home Where they were allowed to freely roam, The rest of the group gave puzzled looks to one another. Little did they know what they were to discover. Besides their friend, not one else they knew. Until knowledge of the others grew, Most of them decided to stay in the room And do what they could to bring light to the gloom. One of the guests wanted something more So every room he was willing to explore. Everything in the house was strange. Touching everything within his range, From room to room he continued to go. His exploration refused to slow. After opening the final door he heard a bark. Coming out was a dog who like him would not park. No longer wanting to look around, He ran away from the barking sound. The other guests laughed when he returned With the valuable lesson he had learned. Following him was a very small dog Making sure her room the guests would not hog. Insistantly the owners of the house put the dog away. Once again they asked their guests to stay. Apologizing for not warning of the dangers Encountered by hidden animal strangers. Guests could sometimes be hard to please. Needs they had could leave the owners on their knees, Yet they continued to do their part Because they knew they could do it in their heart.
