For a job to be done right,
It is best to be polite.
Whether the others are kind or cruel,
Politeness gives one a better chance to rule.
Kind people tend to recieve kindness in return.
This is a lesson many people should learn.
Despite all the problems that might be found,
Usually things work better when politeness is around.
One who practices politeness day after day
Is more likely to be polite when trouble has come to stay.
Even when things have gone horribly wrong,
Staying polite can keep one going strong.
Basic manners have a universal appeal
Letting others know one's politeness is real.
Changes to many things large and small
Are best done adding politeness to it all.
Understood by even the smallest child,
The meaning is the same in both civilization and the wild.
Politeness motivates when the day has begun
And keeps one going when the day is done.
