              HOPE
       By ... Steve Lucky

Even with no apparent solution,
Hope motivates people to find a way.
Not even a whole sea of polution
Makes one full of hope head towards dismay.
Instead he or she will try to keep going.
Hope itself can reduce the shades
Of darkness from problems that are not showing
Until each of those problems finally fades.
Belief things will get better is a way to fight
The gloom and dispair wanting control.
Every problem within our sight
Can be solved by anyone willing to pay the toll.
Hope does amazing things on Earth and above,
Yet it is worthless without love.
