MAIN • BIO • THE DETAILS
Craig S. (Smith) Kiessling
Smith is my mother's maiden name (along with the Fuller family).
Kiessling was my father's last name (along with the Hoffman family).
OTHER NAMES I HAVE GONE BY (for one reason or another)
31 (32 very soon)
August 10, 1972
Water / Wood
Single - And Looking...
Yes, if you are female, that is a hint!
One stronger than the other
Wore a patch over one eye as a child
Wore glasses after that
Parents bought me Conatact Lens for my birthday years ago, and I wore them off and on for a few weeks, but I just couldn't get past the whole "sticking a finger in my eye" thing :(
Since then, I've also gone through two pairs of reading glasses, and I did kinda like them as they looked good on me, and they allowed my eyes to do their job without stain...Until I ended up stepping on them...:( Oh well.
Very Short and Brown
I use to get it always cut in the Ceasar style.
Can you believe that I once dyed it jet-black?
Well, it floats between 150-160lbs.
Five Feet & Eight Inches
TYPE OF BUILD
Atheletic & Fit. Not muscle-bound, mind you, but still in good shape.
Use to be a "sun-worshipper" and be a bit on the dark side, but since college, I have paled out a bit. Although I must admit that being in Singapore is kinda darkening me up. :)
Luckily I was doing my Chi Kung on a regular basis as a child, so I do look a bit younger than my age, and use to always fool people with it. In the States, I still get carded for alcohol and for cigarettes.
DISTINGUISHING MARKS (Scars)
"U" shaped scar under left eye
Round 1/4" scar on right wrist (one on top & one on bottom)
2" long scar on left side of hip
Probably Smoke Too Much (Any is too much really)
My Eating Habits have gotten much better since I've been in Singapore - everybody has been ordering for me :). I hope that I learn something from it so that when I am on my own, I continue to eat well.
Drink Coffee - Again, probably too much.
Right knee-cap popped off during Air Force Medical Examination (not good) Whoa!
Has changed throughout time, each time for the appreciation of its symbolisms
All Ethnic Cuisine, and Just about any other type of food :)
They change over time. Some of my friends from the days up in Athens will tell you of the choice ones I used repetitively that grew on their nerves, LOL! Such as:
Atlanta, Georgia, USA - Roswell
Strange. Watched both of my parents lives go down the tubes and there was nothing I could do.
"I Got Five On It"
"D., D. Ya C."
"My Way or The Highway, Baby" (Jokingly)
"Buddha, Check It - Shawty's Got Ninjas!"
Wished for brother or sister.
Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts to Eagle.
Felt isolated from the `rich-kids'

Best friend / Worst Enemy - I love her lots, yet she is also the one who can get under my skin and make me the most angry.
August Carl Kiessling (Gustav / Bud)
Passed away in June, 2001.
I miss him greatly
The below was written before he passed on...
Difficult time with him. Utmost of love, respect etc. Watched him go from running his company to selling hot dogs. I want to earn his respect and pride. He cheated on his first wife with my mother and had my sister. 7 years ago he was told he had terminal Lymphoma (cancer of the lymph nodes and glands) and was given six months to live. He is still here. Three years ago he was told he had Lung Cancer, because of smoking - part of left lung removed, but he still smokes. Two years ago, he was told he had testicular cancer. Now more lumps are appearing on his lymph nodes. He works the night shift every weekend at his retirement home, where he lives with my mother. I want to earn lots of money so that I can give them some sort of happiness before they die.

At ease when: I have a decent job, regular income, food, and can take a regular class.
Ill at ease when: I have none of the above.
Desires: Get a job, pay the rent, my bills, personal debts, do nice things for mother and father, increase knowledge for marketablity, find love, learn and excel more kung fu, qigong & spiritually, have a car (if in states), travel (Currently main wish is to stay in Singapore).
Philosophy: I'll be damned if things ain't gonna change around here. LOL!
Feelings about self: Pretty confident, but sometimes self-doubt. Other times I know there is nothing stopping my good-fortune, as I work hard and have the skills. Have become somewhat self-conscious over the years - but then again who hasn't?
If granted one wish what would it be? All that most would wish for themselves - I would wish for my parents to have
Pretty hard-working and fun-loving. Love to joke and kid around. Definitely an extrovert, and yet I can't seem to apply my willingness to talk with folks to the opposite sex too much - what's up with that?
Vulnerabilities: I'm a dreamer and think of personal relationships like in fairy-tale land. People should be loyal. A whole bunch of complex issues there.
Extrovert (with times of introversion)
kung fu, creativity, writing, dancing, acting, web design, HTML coding, intuitive cooking
Don't make me be a waiter - I'm terrified of it. I know I will drop everything all over the place. Not good with introducing myself to the opposite sex.
None whatsoever. Some degree leftist, some degree right party. I'd say middle of the road, because I go on an issue by issue basis.
And I get pretty sick during Election times - it just sounds too much like little kids arguing - poking fun at one another and claiming that "thier daddy can beat up the other's daddy."
THINGS I ENJOY DOING
In college I said "Eat, Sleep and Fu (as in Kung Fu)" Now it's pretty much the same, but I now also enjoy dancing, reading, writing, nature, getting lost, philosophical discussions, surfing the net, exercising, and a few other things.
Singapore (pretty much everywhere)
All over Atlanta
Brunswick, Georgia, and Islands
Panama City, FL
Rock City, TN
All over the place. At times I could look like Ah Beng in baggy hip-hop looking clothes, other times I look like a Yuppie in my Khakis and Dress Shirts, other times in Jeans and T-Shirts, other times in Ripped-Up Camo. pants or shorts and overall just kinda bummy. It all depends on my mood and the occassion I guess.
In the past and in general, I usually don't really like wearing jewelry, though... Have been bought 3 different necklaces with the eagle thing on it. Sometimes I use to wear buddhist beads on wrist. Use to wear necklace with bagua pendant my friend gave me, but it's no longer with me - looking for another one. Wore the silver ring on right hand that ex-girlfriend gave me for a bit. Now I wear a huge silver ring with a nice black stone in it on my right index finger, as it was my father's before he passed on - unfortunately it's about the only thing he could afford to pass on. I also wear a silver watch on my left wrist.
1st car was a yellow 1971 Volkswagen Bug in highschool. Lasted up until mid-college years.

So, yes, my legs have gotten pretty darn strong!

Then at girlfriend's house
Then house with 4 others

Then a studio/basement apartment.
Then when dad died and I lost my job...on the sofa in my mother's retirement apartment.
Currently at my friend's place in Yishun, Singapore.
A suitcase of clothes
Floppy Disks & CDs
The rest of my belongings are in boxes in a closet in my mother's retirement apartment back in Atlanta, Georgia, in the States. Once I get my own apartment here in Singapore, I'll have them sent over...

Not as superstitious as I use to be - but I do still believe that there are a fair amount of portents and signs in the world that contain valuable symbolisms or messages.
I use to not like having my picture taken. Did not like crows too much. Would not tell others of my birthday.
I do not like spiders
