Anatomic rocks!
(formerly Shy Tiger)
by Vangee

Anatomic hails from the San Francisco Bay Area. This four man band has been hitting the club circuit for nearly 10 years, with recent gigs in Los Angeles. Their sound is self-described as melodic hard rock in the vein of FireHouse, Poison, and Motley Crue.

Their new and 3rd studio release is called "In For The Thrill" and man have they come a long way! Their first release being a mere demo tape, though rough around the edges, showed the band's pure potential. Several years later, "In For The Thrill" shows the growth the band has made both musically and lyricly. It's a shame to hear such a radio worthy CD on an "indie" label.

Anatomic is made up of Ryan Freeman on vocals/guitar, Johnny Rowland on guitar, Jason Eldredge on drums, and JJ Goncz on bass. Although the line up may have changed over the years and back again this band has sustaining power and proves it time and again.

If you have a craving for a CD that will take you back to the good ol' days of rock, this is definitely a CD for you. "In For The Thrill" will get you off your seat!

Anatomic has a couple of upcoming shows in July 2001. These will be Northern California shows- in Sacramento and Modesto. For more info, on shows and merchandise, contact Anatomic at Anatomicrock.
