The hot new band Diffuser is made up of Tomas Costanza on guitar and vocals, Anthony Cangelosi on guitar, Lawerence Sullivan on bass, and Billy Alemaghides on drums.
Their new cd, Injury Loves Melody blew me away. Each song was very well written. The songs are very entergetic and explosive, which shows the bands ability to meld the past to the present.
The band brings in their past influences such as old school Kiss, Van Halen and Led Zeppelin.
Diffuser, formerly known as Flu 13, also has their first single,"Karma" on the Mission Impossible 2 soundtrack, which will bring them tons of attention from new fans.
Diffuser is not quite rock, not quite punk, not quite pop, but they create their music straight from their hearts, bringing a piece of them to their music and their fans.
I highly suggest getting ahold of a copy of Injury Loves Melody and checking out Diffuser when they come to your town. If you happen to live in Northern California, you will see me there. They have a new fan in me already.
