Here is the Rochesters' story STRAIGHT from the Roaches themselves!! (Taken from Peachtree Morning, September 14, 1999)....
Reporter: "You guys are also doing a different group besides doing the Roaches. Tell me about the Rochesters"
Young: "Well, we write songs as well. I mean, listening to groups like the Beatles...who is our favorite group, absolutely...you get inspired to write songs. And we've done it a bit. And we're just starting to do it kinda seriously. And we call it the Rochesters." *looks at drum and points at name* "So it's kinda like you take the "A" out..."
Adam: "And add a 'esters' and you got the Rochesters"
Reporter: "Do you have different equipment, or do you..."
Young: "Well, you know, a lot of it carries over cause we really like the sounds of some of the old records so we try to preserve a lot of the vintage sounds that you get with these"
