Corliss Williamson and the Sacramento Kings have reportedly finally come to an agreement. The deal is for one year for 3.5 million dollars. There has been much frustration throughout this whole contract negotiation, which has lasted all summer. Near the beginning of the summer, rumors had the two sides signing 6 or 7 year deals worth over 40 million. The contract he will sign soon is for one year, with an option for a second year worth 3.93 million.

Corliss had this to say about it all, "All I can say is I'm happy about not having to sit here anymore wondering where I was going to be, but as far as me coming back mad and it affecting the way I play during the season, that won't happen. I'm just ready to play ball."
Last season, in a breakout year, Corliss averaged 13.2 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.
