My name is JC and I am now 4 yrs.
I live in Georgia with my Mommy and Daddy.
  I have 5 sisters and 1 brother who love me very much,
They help take good care of me.
I love them very much!

Medical Conditions

  I have many health problems.
The medical terms my Doctors use are:
Schizencephaly,

optic nerve dysplasia,

cerebal palsy,and

seizure disorder.

My seizures are not very controlable, but we are working on it.
I have some good doctors, their names are: Doctor Phillbrook, and Doctor Saripkin, both in Atlanta, and Doctor Williams in Blue Ridge..
I am taking Tegretol, Valporic Acid, Atavan, Zantac, Robinul, and Flagyl

I have some great therapists.
My PT{Karla}, OT{Mindy}, Speech Therapist{Tracy}, who were coming to my house. But now that I am bigger, I get to go to school.
This summer I went 3 days a week for 3 hrs a day.
It was great !

They show me how to move around,use my hands, talk.(I need that cause the girls are always talking to me), and eat.

Mommy works hard feeding me, sometimes I have a real problem swallowing.
And lots of troubles with reflux
Well the doctors have done more tests and have decided that I would be better with a feeding tube called a G-Tube.
As we find out more about this we will let you know.

On October 28th 2000 I got a feeding tube. Mommmy isn't very happy with it, and it does take some getting use to. I now have another machine at home that puts my formula right into my little belly, I don't have to try to drink all those bottles now. That should mean I am going to get bigger and stronger and not have to go to the hospital as much.

Here it is eight months after I got the tube, and I am still getting use to it.
I am using a formula called "Neocate". It is very expensive and very nasty too !
I have grown from 17 lbs to 31 lbs, and am finally in a size 4T in my clothes.
In May 2001 I had a J-tube placed cause I wasn't able to keep my food down with the G-tube.
But soon after that I had another surgery, called a "fundo"
Now I am back with a G-button.
I am on a different formula, one called Enlive.
I have put on a few more lbs, I weigh 31 lbs and am 32 inches tall.
Getting big , huh?
