The rest of the group disappear mysteriously with the joining of the stone only to return wounded and in dire shape. Kagome alone is missing, leaving both Inuyasha and Kouga alone. The two rivals begin to see that they have more in common than they thought. Sango must learn to cope with losing Miroku and her brother.
