Gokou and Uubu are in the Shinden. An old Emperor Pilaf and his servants Shu and Mye go there to get the Dragonballs. These Dragonballs are similar to the other Dragonballs but these ones have black stars in them. They gather the Dragonballs but then Gokou sees them. Pilaf sees Gokou and becomes angry. He wishes that Gokou would be small like he used to be.
This was not his intention. The Dragon, who is now red, appears and grants his wish. Gokou is now a mere child. The spell must be undone by the black star Dragonballs, but these Dragonballs have been scattered all over the galaxy. While returning home, Gokou runs into Pan and together they thwart the plans of some bank robbers. They return home. Chi Chi is upset that Gokou is now a child. Then Kaioh-sama tells them that the earth will be destroyed if the black star Dragonballs are not gathered together in Earth in the time of one year. Needless to say there will be a great deal of space travel. 
This series contains many of the old charactersfrom the DB/Z series, but just an older version. These include Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, Goten, Chi-Chi, Videl, Bulma, Bra, Ect. And has some new faces to add like Pan, Gohan and Videl's daughter, Ubuu which was the rencarnation of Majinn Buu from DBZ, And the new Super Saiay-Jinn Level 4 for Vegeta And Goku. Also To Fight Old enimies as Dr.Gero, Andriod #17, Freezer, Cell, Bebi, And The Evil Shen-Lons. Also The Return Of Gojita In SSJ4 Form.
Note : DBGT was not as good of a succes as it's preeceders due to the fact that AKIRA TORIYAMA has not been part of this production. This paticular seris was put out to just keep the db sereis popular and to keep it going but was failed.
