Since you have never seen a ghost before, you decide to follow it. Carefully, you make your way down the path. The spirit does not seem to be malicious, so you are not too afraid.

The ghost begins to move faster, as if it were running from something. You run after it. Then, suddenly the ghost stops. You come within ten feet of it. You can see that the spirit is a woman. She seems very sad about something. She has tears in her eyes. Then, as the clouds shift and the moon reappears, you realize what is happening.

You see the ghost standing on the edge of a cliff. She stretches her arms outward, standing still. "Wait!" you cry out and run toward her. But.....you are too late. She leaps from the edge of the cliff. Her scream pierces the air as she falls. You look over the edge.......but nothing is there. You try to shake her chilling scream from your mind, but it does no good.

A cold chill envelops your entire body. As you turn around, the chill intensifies. Then, you see why.

There is a twisted face forming in the mist that surrounds you. The face seems to laugh at you. It shocks you and you take a step back to get away from the face.

Big mistake. As you step back, the mist-like apparition advances. You panic and begin to back away.....right to the edge of the cliff. The mist swirls around you. You scream in terror as it enters your body like a demon. You wave your arms at the misty spirit, which causes you to lose your balance. You topple over the edge.....just like the ghost woman. As you fall, you can see the ghostly skin on the face falling away leaving only the skull of the apparition. The skull fades away without a trace. Your fate is no different from hers. Your body meets the sharp rocks below with deadly force.
