Some of our adventures!

Welcome to our online photo album. We hope you enjoy reading about and looking at our adventures over the last year or so.

3rd Goodwood Guides (Term 2, 1999)

Here are some of the girls from our Unit. The youngest ones in front (used to be called Gumnuts), the next oldest in the middle row (used to be called Brownies) and the older girls in the back row (the Guides).

Our Mighty Leaders!

Here are our Leaders. L to R: Platypus and Koala (in front), Possum, Bilby and Brown Owl in the back.

Craft time

Here are the Guides doing some Easter craft. They are decorating oval (egg shaped) biscuits with icing and lollies.

On a Hike

Here are some of the girls on our hike last summer. We stopped for a rest at the top of the hill and then walked down the other side. We found a paddock full of soursobs (oxalis weed) that were really thick - so we went and played in them. Can you see the one who is hiding in them?

On Parade (Australia Day 1999)

Here we are (with other girls from our Region and other girl associations - GFS, Girl's Brigade & St John's Cadets) providing an Honour Guard for the Governor's wife and other special guests at the Pioneer Women's Memorial Gardens for the Australian Day Service. You can see the beautiful statue at the end of the path which commemorates the work and sacrifice of the pioneer women of Australia.

A Star is Born!

Here we are getting ready for the Honour Guard and our junior leader thinks the camera only exists to take photos of her! :-))
