Andersonville National Historic Site is located in Andersonville, Georgia 10 Miles North of Americus Georgia on GA Route 49.

FROM THE ATLANTA OR MACON AREA
Take I-75 South. Follow I-75 until you get to EXIT 135 ( Perry Marshallville). This road is GA 127. At the top of the ramp turn Right. Proceed TWO miles on Ga 127 and it will veer to the right------STAY TO YOUR LEFT on GA Rt.224 which will take you to Montezuma ( 20 miles ). In Momtezuma, Ga Rt. 224 will intersect with GA Rt. 26. Turn RIGHT. Follow Rt. 26 thru Montezuma for several miles until it intersects with Rt. 49-----turn LEFT on RT. 49 SOUTH and proceed about 6 miles to the park entrance on your LEFT
FROM COLUMBUS GEORGIA AREA.
Take GA 520 South/US 280 East. Turn left on GA Route 26 and proceed to Ellaville. I Ellaville follow sighs to GA 228 to Andersonville. At Intersection of Route 228 and GA Highway 49 , tuen left and proceed 1 mile to the park entrance on the right.
FROM CORDELE GA AREA.
Take 280 West to Americus ( approx. 30 Miles ). In Americus 280 becomes three lane one-way road. At 2nd light---turn right on HWY 49 North. Proceed 9 miles to the Andersonville National Historic Site on your right.
