The History of Andersonville

This unique living history program offers visitors the opportunity to see and experience what life was like at the infamous Civil War prison camp. Living history and reenactors will portray Andersonville prisoners and guards.

Sadly the most enjoyable part of the weekend for visitors and reenactors as well is the lanturn tour,,, which has been cancelled this year. The park Superintendent doesnt feel it necessary to share this experiance with the visitors who come for that experiance. Kevin Frye
