Before I met You
Before I met you, I was just
A lonely dream in flight,
A heart without an anchor,
A season without light
My hopes still craved an answer,
My spirit sought to grow;
My life still needed someone
To set my soul aglow.
But when the moment happened
And we joined in heart and mind,
A life of new discovery
Was tenderly defined.
We learned to walk the path of sharing--
Talked an laughed and cared.
Our fondness for each other
Was in truth and warmth declared.
And soon we knew that passion
Was the gift that two receive
When they embrace the feeling
That their love will never leave.
