Well, today is Kevin's birthday, the big 1-8... we are all so proud of him (and the people rejoice). I updated nearly everything in the site so visit it all. We are going to order new stickers shortly, and we just got in some black shirts which you can check out on the Merchandise page. We are starting to get a lot of shows and we plan to record a new CD after the new year. We are really excited about our new stuff. We will attempt to put up a sounds section after soon also. I took off the FAQ's b/c they were pretty lame and nobody asks us many questions anyway, besides "When is your next show" and stuff like that. Anyway, enjoy the new look, it's kind of electric. Check out the 7-10 Split Webpage soon for a firey look. Check ya later. Justin <><

May 14, 1999, Friday

Well, my school is supposed to get bombed today, so I decided to stay home. I put up some background stuff on some of the pages, if you don't like them then tell me and I will take them off. Well, school is coming to a close, and the work is startnig to get easier, so Offcenter is hopefully going to get to be able to play a bunch of shows sometime soon. We do have a show on the 21st of March at SBC. That is going to be an awesome show. Umm, I do have some bad news though. It is very possible that I may be moving to Florida at the end of this summer, which in itself isn't all that bad. The band is not going to break up, I don't think, and I am going to drive back one or two weekends every month, and we are going to practice and play shows. The rest of Offcenter may come down to Florida every once in a while and play some shows down there. It could be for only a little while, and I may need to move back second semester but only God knows what lies ahead for Offcenter, so we are taking this one staep at a time, and hoping that e can work through this trying time. If anyone would like us to come and play shows any time soon then please call us b/c we are dying to play shows.

April 20, 1999

OK, here's the deal, I decided to rip off Tooth and Nail and keep the old news on a separate page so you don't have to mess with it all of the time. (Archived for your pleasure....inside joke). Umm, in the advent of our drastic website renovation by none other than myself, I would like to announce that we now have (well, by tomorrow) about 50 Cd's burned, and we also have decent lyric books!!! Praise God, and thank you Del..... you have really helped us out a ton. We may be recording a couple of songs sometime this summer for a Devastation Music comp.. We should be recording Wake Me Up and Class E Fire. Offcenter is not going to book any more shows in the month of May or April (well, maybe one or two in May if someone talks to us) because of our school schedules. But we are very interested in playing wherever people will have us this summer, so if you have a place to play at (house, garage, club, theater, football dome, ect.) then call us and we would be glad to play. We only ask that you try to get us some gas money and a place to stay for the night. Let's see, other than that, I would only like to say that 7-10 Split just got signed to Screaming Giant Records and will be recording a long awaited full-length album the first week in June. Check these guys out. They are awesome people and an awesome band. Oh, and about the old news, just click on the link at the bottom of the screen.

Charlie is such a slacker that I had to come on here, crack some codes and change the site around myself. I updated the shows, lyrics, and links pages. Some of the shows are still tentative, but hopefully they will all fall into place. We are also going to try and set up a mini-tour or two this summer, so if you want us to come then please call me at (912) 987-7760, OR email me. Thanks for the support. I will be back soon.

April 15, 1999

March 3, 1999

Well, the page is slowly gaining momentum as you can see by the added pictures, contacts, and news sections. We are working on updating the merchandise, shows, guestbook, and lyrics pages, so stick with us and check back in a few days. Our 5-song demo is completely finished except that we have really sorry lyric books right now, but we are going to invest the profits from the first shipment to buy good ones, so if you would rather get the better, then you should wait a week or so. If you want to get one tell us so that we know how many to order on our next shipment. Umm, we should be getting new stickers relatively soon, and probably patches, and then shirts. I am going to start setting up shows in the Warner Robins area, so if you want to come or are interested in playing/coming then e-mail me.

February 14, 1999

If you want a copy, call Justin (912) 987-7760, or write to Kenny Lipscomb at 203 Tucker Road, Warner Robins, GA, 31088. It's $5, order it today!!!

February 1, 1999

Hey everybody, I am Justin. I am the singer and rhythm guitar player for Offcenter. I just wanted to thank you for stopping by and tell you that we are sorry that there is not much to look at right now. We haven't given much stuff to the guy who makes our site (Charlie) but we should have some pictures, bios, merchandise (what little we have) and a better update very soon, so please stop by and check it out.

In case you are wondering, Offcenter is what we like to call a mid-school punk rock band. We call it this because we have bits of all kinds of punk and we don't feel like we fall in to any other category. I can't make any comparisons other than we might have some Face to Face, MxPx, Dogwood influence, or something like that. We (Kevin-drums, Kenny-lead guitar, and Anthony-bass) are all Christians. We believe that Jesus Christ lived and died for our sins, and that he rose again on the third day. If you want to see what we believe then just read your Bible. We don't believe anything that is not in there, and do everything that is.

Well, we are about to record a five song CD demo with our friend Bradley Defoor and that should be available soon. I can't promise anything since this will be our first recording, but they should be somewhere around the $5 range. We live in Warner Robins GA, which is about two hours south of Atlanta. If you would like to book us, then please e-mail me at millerst@hom.net or call me at home at (912) 987-7760. Thanks for your time and be sure to check back in soon and I will update this as soon as I can.
