FLORIDA'S 10-20-LIFE LAW

According to Florida's 10-20-Life Law that has been in effect since July 1, 1999 anyone who pulls a Gun in the state of Florida will automatically be sentenced for a 10yr imprisonment. If that person actually pulls the trigger, a mandatory 20yrs sentence will be given and if the persons shoots someone they will be given a mandatory 25yrs sentence on top of any other sentencing that may be accrued. According to many surveys by sociologists done on the U.S. criminal system, which are of course never mentioned by the American media, Blacks & ethnic minorities seems to be targeted by most criminal laws that are aggressively enforced by law enforcement officers today. The 10-20-Life law will almost gurantee the extinction of ethnic minority males in Florida due to the differences in the types of crimes that White males commit. Another thing to look at is the rate of growth of the private prison industry that many corporations have been contracted to build through financial business agreements made with the U.S. government. By using the prison population to do the work for these corporations, legalized enslavement of our minority males is made possible along with higher risks of their extinction.

MUMIA ABU JAMAL - has been sentenced to death by lethal injection for December 2nd 1999. His case was heard before the Supreme Court and they ruled in favor of his death sentence instead of overturning it. Mumia's lawyers say that they will appeal his case again for retrial. There is talk that this will most likely not occur anymore because they have already been before the Supreme Court.

DID YOU KNOW?: Did you know that a Black Nation and Government exists right here in the United States and is recognized by the United Nations through the provision of International Law? Based on the 13th Amendment, the Provisional Government of New Afrika was formed during the end of the Civil Rights Era which in 1968 with over 500 Blacks from around the U.S. witnessed the signing of the Republic of New Afrika's Declaration. According to the Provisional Government of The Republic of New Afrika, anyone who is Black or of African descent as well as our brothers and sisters from the islands and all over the world who were displaced during the middle passage from the mother lands to the US are part of this nation.

KKK IS NAMED A TERRORIST GROUP: (October 1999) In Charleston, North Carolina the City Council banned together to rule the KKK as a recognized terrorist group that is not allowed to operate in their hometown. According to some city council members they are worried that the KKK might file a lawsuit against them but that they carefully reviewed all possibilities before their ruling to determine whether or not they could legally be allowed to peg them as such. According to Charleston's City Council members, any organization that infringes upon the civil rights of any group of peoples are in deed a terrorist group. The KKK and the Christian Knights of the KKK has yet to comment. (www.wanonline.com)

ISLAMIC LAW TO BE RULED AS SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND: (October 1999) One of the states in Nigeria have decided to impose the Islamic beliefs as the supreme law of the land. This means no interaction in public between women and men. Completely separate facilities, schools, public restrooms, etc. will have to be pbuilt. Beheadings for thivery and other crimes will be punishable by death based on the eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth doctrine. The government is also going to shut down many Christian churches and ban them from practicing in Nigeria as well as making all churches register with the government or face criminal charges and persecution. Christians deemed the possible ruling of Islamic Beliefs as Supreme Law as a war against the Muslims and the Christians and the taking away of spiritual rights and freedoms from the Nigerian people. VOTING RIGHTS ACT of 1965: Before the passage of the Voting Rights Act in 1965, most Blacks could not vote in the United States. Most Blacks still lived in the South and were denied the right to vote through force of violence and various restrictions. In March of 1965 the famous Selma to Montgomery March took place where Alabama state troopers beat marchers on their way to the state capitol to demand their right to vote. Congress then passed the Voting Rights Act of 1965 signed by Pres. Lyndon B. Johnson that declared unconstitutional any state law that imposed qualifications preventing citizens from voting in federal elections because of their race or color. This Act outlawed the tests and taxes required to vote. It also prevented states from changing their voting qualifications or their voting districts for a period of five years without review by the attorney general. LET'S NOT FORGET THAT 1965 WAS NOT THAT LONG AGO. WE'RE RUNNING AROUND HERE FORGETTING ALL OF THE LIVES THAT WERE TAKEN FOR THE FIGHT OF EQUALITY TO ENSURE A BETTER WAY OF LIFE FOR US AND OUR CHILDREN. WE'RE TOO BUSY TRYING TO ASSIMALATE INSTEAD OF UNIFYING AND EMPOWERING OURSELVES. WE ARE TOO BUSY TRYING TO BE LIKE THE WHITE MAN WE HAVE FORGOTTEN WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE BLACK AND PROUD. WE USE TO OWN OUR OWN BUINESSES AND STORE SHOPS AND HAVE OUR OWN COMMUNITIES AND SCHOOLS LESS THAN 50 YEARS AGO AND NOW WE'RE SCATTERED ALL OVER IMPOVERISHED COMMUNITIES THROUGH OUT THE UNITED STATES. WE GIVE OUR MONEY TO FOREIGNERS WHO HAVE MIGRATED TO THE US AND OPENED UP BUSINESSES IN OUR COMMUNITIES, WE PAY TAXES TO A GOVERNMENTAL SYSTEM THAT IS DESIGNED TO PURPOSESLY CONTINUE TO OPPRESS BLACKS AND AFRICANS IN THE U.S. ALIKE. WE TAKE FOR GRANTED THE FREEDOMS THAT WE HAVE WHICH HAVE RECENTLY BEEN GIVIN TO US - THE REPUBLICANS HAVE ALREADY BEGUN IN THEIR EFFORTS TO TAKE AWAY THESE FREEDOMS AND ANY FORM OF AIDE IN THE U.S. WHICH IS USED TO ENSURE FAIR AND EQUAL TREATMENT TOWARDS BLACKS AND AFRICANS IN THE UNITED STATES. WE ARE JEALOUS OF EACHOTHER FOR A SPECTRUM OF REASONS AND DON'T EVEN REALIZE THAT IT IS ALL SELF HATRED THAT WE WERE CONDITIONED TO USE AS A MEANS TO CONTINUE TO ENSLAVE OURSELVES. WHERE ARE ALL THE CORNER LIQUOR STORES, CRACK HOUSES, AND PROSTITUTES? WHAT KIND OF CONDITIONS ARE THE SCHOOLS THAT OUR CHILDREN ATTEND IN? HOW OLD ARE THE TEXTBOOKS THAT OUR KIDS ARE USING IN CLASS? HOW MANY OF OUR PEOPLE ARE LIVING RIGHT AT OR BELOW THE POVERTY LINE. WHAT GROUP OF PEOPLES IN THE U.S. MEN ARE IMPRISONED, DEAD, OR ON DRUGS BY THE AGE OF 24? WHAT GROUP OF PEOPLE'S ARE DYING OF AIDS AND HIV QUICKER THAN OTHER PEOPLES IN THE US? WHAT GROUP OF PEOPLE ARE SEVERELY PUNISHED AND IMPRISONED FOR PETTY CRIMES? WHOSE KIDS AMONG A CERTAIN GROUP OF PEOPLE ARE PROFILED BY POLICE TO BE GANG MEMBERS AND DRUG DEALERS IN TRAINING BY THE WAY THEY DRESS AND THE CARS THAT THEY DRIVE AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD THAT THEY HAPPEN TO GROW UP IN? WAKE UP BROTHERS AND SISTERS. THE REVOLUTION WILL NOT BE TELEVISED. THE MOVEMENT HAS YET TO STOP. EDUCATE YOURSELF BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE. BLACK POWER! BLACK POWER! BLACK POWER!
