He was born in Walker County, Georgia on April 12,1932, he was Baptized 31st Day of Aug. 1947 At. in Center Post, Walker County,Georgia. When the call of war came off he went , Jason was Corporal in Regular Army, he was Honorably Discharged on 1st of May 1954. He also served as a Merchant Seaman on the Peter A.B.Widener, Honorably Discharged Sept. 20,1967.
After the service in 1952 he went to work for his brother-in-law Clarence Griffin at the Busy Bee Taxi Stand and thru driving a cab he fell in love with me and my sister (I was 3yr old and Debbie was 1 yr old) and thru us he fell in love with our mother, Esto Ellison-Tate, Daughter of Augustus L.Ellison and Beulah Voiles-Ellison. My real father left us when Debbie was 3 mo. old. As the story goes they got married on Dec.11,1954 in Walker County,Georgia

Jason Young also raised 2 daughters as his Marilyn Ann Tate My Sister
