Deeci's Personal Rambling Page

March 28, 2001 Yes, KindaFunny had her surgery and I have to say that I'm really proud of her. She's going into this with 100% dedication and, as we can already see, her hard work is paying off. Way to go, KindaFunny! Keep up the good work!

With that said, lets's get back to me! It's my part of the page and I want to write about ME! (Of course, if I had nothing to write about, I'd continue on about KindaFunny.)

This weekend I went on a road trip with Thomas, my brother Kip, and his fiancee, Michelle. We went to the second most happening buffet infested land... Reno, Nevada!! Yes, we ate, we gambled, we ate, we shoped, we ate, and then I found it... our original WHEEL OF FORTUNE slot machine!! Oh, the joy that came across me. I was all set to win big, big, big, but it wasn't working. The darn machine was broken or something because there were no big pay outs. The disappointment quickly overcame me. I openly sobbed uncontrollably. Then, I found a different slot machine! No, it wasn't WHEEL, but it was even better. It paid off! You don't know joy until you hear $13.50 worth of nickels falling and clinking and clinking and falling... and, then, scooping them up and putting them into your very own plastic bucket!! It was at this point that I danced openly.

Now, I know what you're all thinking... what could possibly top that? Well, really nothing. But, something came close. I don't know if you're aware of it or not, but Reno has a bowling center that is so incredible they actually have professional tournaments there. There was a tournament going on and we saw a bit of it. Okay, that's nice, but even better than that, we went into the pro shop. I have never seen a pro shop so large. It actually has its own bowling lane in the shop so that you can try out balls before you buy them. AWESOME!! Anyway, it was at this pro shop that a childhood dream of mine came true. Don't ask me why I wanted one, just accept that I did. So, what did I find that I've always wanted? A bowling pin. Yes, a bowling pin. I'm now the proud owner of my very own bowling pin. What am I going to do with it? I've no clue in the world. Am I going to make it into one of those tacky table lamps? Perhaps. You know what? It doesn't matter! I have a real bowling pin! (Stop laughing, KindaFunny. And, no, it's not up for grabs like the Lucky Dollar.)

That's it for now, I suppose. Enjoy spring and don't forget to change your clocks on Sunday!!

March 24, 2001 Well, we're back, huh? I feel like I've been on a long hiatus and while my show has been hiatusing (no, it's probably not a real word, but I'm using it) I've forgotten the story line, what my part is, and how to act. So, it may take a while for me to get the hang of this again... hold on because it might be a bumpy ride.

Let's see, I suppose I should first introduce -- or reintroduce -- myself. I'm Deeci (A.K.A. GlowingGal). I'm a friend of Connie's (KindaFunny) and I have helped her out once in a while with her webpage. Okay, maybe it was a forced kind of help or maybe it's because I hacked onto her site so many times or maybe it's even because of the pure entertaining writing talent I have, but she finally gave me my own section on her page. Whatever the reason, I tend to stay away from her part of the page and keep to myself. (I prefer to think that she wanted me to stop writing on her section because it was so blatent how much more talented I am at writing that she didn't want our different writing styles to be too close to each other for comparison.) Oh, yeah, and I live in San Francisco, California.

Well, I think that's it for now, but I'll be back at another time. It's good being back again!

C'mon... email me!
