331. Elizabeth WYCHE.

She was married to Hartwell (Heartwell) RAINES Esquire (son of ) on 17 Oct 1776 in Sussex County, VA. Hartwell Raines and Elizabeth Wyche, daughter of James Wyche deceased were married and Surety was provided by James Jones. Hartwell (Heartwell) RAINES Esquire was born about 1756 in Prince George County, VA. He died before 7 May 1799 in Brunswick County, VA.

1782 - Hartwell Raines was authorized reimbursement for 5 pounds, for paying the 24 tithes of an insolvent Alex Shaw at a Bristol Parish meeting on March 16, 1782 (CW).

1787 - Hartwell witnessed a deed in Brunswick County, Virginia.

Elizabeth WYCHE and Hartwell (Heartwell) RAINES Esquire had the following children:

334. Nathaniel WYCHE died about 1789 in Sussex County, VA. He died in Sussex County, Va. about 1789, when "Mary Wyche, widow of Nathaniel Wyche, deceased, Armistead Goodwin, and Ann his wife, David Putney, and Mary his wife, and Nathaniel Wyche, sued Martha Wyche an infant under 21 years of age, one of the children of the said Nathaniel Wyche, deceased." According to the suit and the will of the widow, Mary, and the division of the land of the said Nathaniel Wyche, deceased, he had issue: Ann who married Armistead Goodwin and had issue Fanny and Mary Ann Chapman Goodwin; Rebecca who married David Putney and had Mary C. Putney, Anthony Putney, and Martha Wyche Putney.

He was married to Mary CHAPMAN. Mary CHAPMAN died about 1789 in Sussex County, VA. In 1789, "Mary Wyche, widow of Nathaniel Wyche, deceased, Armistead Goodwin, and Ann his wife, David Putney, and Mary his wife, and Nathaniel Wyche, sued Martha Wyche an infant under 21 years of age, one of the children of the said Nathaniel Wyche, deceased." Nathaniel WYCHE and Mary CHAPMAN had the following children:

+468 ii. Rebecca WYCHE.

+469 iii. Mary Chapman WYCHE.

+470 iv. Nathaniel WYCHE.

+471 v. Martha WYCHE.
