KHEMETIC (EGYPTIAN) DYNASTIES
The dates that are presented here are only approximations. The methods used to date ancient records are fairly accurate; however, they are not perfect.

9,000-9,900: PREDYNASTIC OR ARCHAIC PERIOD
This is the period that marks the first signs on record of a Khemetic Dynasty and the beginnng of the Fari. It is said that the pharaoh Narmer was the first pharaoh of this period. There are many "loose-ends" about this dynasty. For one, it is debated if Narmer was later given the name Menes or Meni, which means, "the founder" or if Menes was a totally different king maybe after Narmer. It seems more likely that Menes was another king. No matter this marks the beginning of the mold that will influence Khem for many centuries. It is also said that Menes is also called Aha by other students of Khem's history, but again this seems like three separate kings spread throught this time spand of 400 years. If each of these kings lived in their hundreds then these may have been the only kings of this period. Horus is also known as the legendary fist king of Khem. Note certain Khem words may have alternate spellings such as Hotep, which is also often spelled Hetep, which means pleased or satisfied. There is also Ra, which is often spelled Re, and Maat (truth and justice) which is often spelled Maet.

9,000-9,950?: The Scorpion King----Tera Neter?. He is the ledengary first king of Khem. Osiris is also said to be a legendary king. Is it possible that Osiris was an actual person instead of a astral invisble god? It's is very possible. There is also literary evidence about a cheif around this time named Tera Neter. Tera Neter is often considered the actual name of the Scorpion King and the name Scorpion King is just a title.

EARLY DYNASTIC PERIOD
This includes the first and second dynasties. Not much is known about this period either. Several anthroplogist say that Menes (Aha) was actually the first king of this era. In a way I think this may be true also. Since, he was the last king of the first dynasty he found the entire Fari system; however, I will add on by saying that Menes or most likely Aha's reign ended just as the next pharaoh's began. I think they followed the same line from the greatest grand-father to the grandson. Exact dates are unknown for the pharaoh's reigns.
