Born, raised and educated in México City, I have a bachelours degree as a Hotel Technitian, from the Mexican School of Tourism, the official school of the Mexican Hotel Association. Since 1971 work with tourism, having learned about service before learning to dive, which in my own personal opinion, diving is a service oriented recreation, of course with a great deal of safety, but we provide service as a main product. In 1975 I moved to Cozumel to work for some of the major hotels on the Island, I learned diving with a local Cozumelenian instructor back in 1977, in 1985 became a Divemaster and in 1987 a PADI Instructor. But I have not stop learning ever since, now days I am a Master Scuba Diver Trainer with 8 specialtys, a REEF Fish Specialist, and at the moment I search for the different fish species that are not common in Cozumel to be able to show them to you. I love sharing this experience with people from all over the world too, who usually not only dive, but they learn more and more about the marine life on every immersion they do with me, even the people who has been coming to the Island for many years have the opportunity to discover new fish and learn new techniques... so please, be my guest!
