The PDGA (Professional Disk Golf
Association) homepage has information about official tournaments, rules,
technical standards, course design, and a section called "What is Disk Golf?"
The PDGA directory of disk golf courses
page includes not only a list of "all the disk golf courses in the world," but
also includes a search feature that allows you to find the course nearest you.
There is also a message board, if you'd like to find a partner or two in your
area or share information.
