Anna and Mike, Sept 2003, at Anna's 10 Year High School Reunion
Mike is a field service technician for Getronics, and works on the Home Depot account, servicing their point of sale and computer equipment. Previous to this new career track, he worked in the theatre business for 10 years, starting out as an usher with Regal Cinemas in 1992. That's actually how we met.
Mike's hobbies include disk golf, video games, and of course, fantasy baseball. For the many people who are not yet acquainted with disk golf, visit Mike's disk golf links to learn more. He also enjoys reading (favorite author: Stephen King), and Mike's musical interests range from heavy metal to pop to alternative. She has an extensive class website, serves on several committees, and was the director of her school's Camp Invention in 2002.
Anna attended the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, from 1992 to 1996 and earned a bachelor's of science in education (BSEd) degree in early childhood education. She earned her Georgia teacher's certificate in 1996. She took a three year hiatus from her chosen field to pursue other interests and is better rounded after time spent in movie theatre management, customer service, and technical support. She is currently pursuing her masters degree through a distance learning program with Walden University.
Anna's hobbies include collecting promotional items from movies, a hobby she retained after leaving her 5 year career in the movie theatre business, where she met Mike in 1992. She also enjoys reading (too many favorite authors to mention), especially children's, realistic fiction about women, suspense, and books related to forensic science or communicable diseases (i.e., Hot Zone). In addition she remembers when she enjoyed SCUBA diving (it's not exactly a cheap hobby), eating out, and of course, one of her favorites activities is still going to the movies.

Mike and Anna are members of Hebron Baptist Church in Dacula, Georgia (where they bought a house in 2001). Anna is active in the AWANA ministry there and works with 3rd and 4th grade girls. They are enjoying their last months of solitude before becoming parents for the first time sometime around the end of May.
