Pellicer Creek, Florida

June 1998
We met at Faver-Dykes State Park. Which if you are not careful you will miss the sign- it's hidden by the pecan stands and stores. The park is nice. There isn't an entrance fee. They have bathrooms and a boat ramp. Plenty of parking too.
From the boat ramp we paddled left. It was pretty and there were alot of spots where you could get out and walk on the sand. We stopped for lunch at one sandbar and walked around for awhile. On the way back we stopped again and went swimming. Just be careful of the oyster shells. They are all over the place.
