EBENEZER CREEK- NOV. 22, 1998
Thank You to the Ogeechee Audubon Society for inviting the club on one of their trips.
It was a great trip. Everyone was really nice and helpful.
The watermarks on the trees showed that the creek was about 5 feet lower than normal.
It started out as an overcast day and turned into a beautiful one.
There were a lot of flowering water hyacinths and plenty of weeds to paddle through.
The creek is surrounded by a cypress forest that you can paddle in and around the trees.
You can get lost and explore or take a short trip if you want.
It's a great place and I THANK the Ogeechee group for sharing it with us.
