First of all...yes I know the title is kinda lame. And another thing, I know this is the first time I have said anything about the new album...but I dont have much time to do anything with this thing. Anyways, the new CD kick !! Do you hear me?! The Over-All Thingy
This is a really awesome album, but Im sure you knew that?! Good. The main reason I say this is because I have been waitin for this thing for almost a year! They kept pushing the release date all the way from early October of 98 to May 99!! And Ive been a proud BSB Obsessor since July, so I NEEDED THIS THING!! The entire thing is a great mix of blalads and fast songs and blah blah blah. Im sure you have all heard it all before. Now on to the songs. Which by the way, sound like the first album recycled. In some ways...I could tell you specific parts but if you havent heard it yet...LISTEN HARDER. And by the way...I didnt review all of the album. Cuz I just dont want to. Maybe later...for now Ill just review my fave songs.
Larger Than Life
hee hee, I liked the way I did that! Anyways, this song, as you SHOULD know, is deticated to us...the fans. Oh yeah? Well, where's my name mentioned? No where? Then I dont believe it. Ha. *L* I love this song cuz it's so fast and that rock sound to it is awesome!! The beginning when AJ screams is just hilarious! I love it!
I Want It That Way
Tell me people...what is this "that way" they are refering to? And why doesnt the song make since? There is actually another version of this song out. And it makes more since then the one they released. anways, this is the one of the FIRST times Kev gets a part. whoo hoo!!! And howie too! That rocks. And the beat is cool. The video...DUDE! If you havent seen it yet, you get off the comp and read it now...or die! Kevin...looks....hot! As well, as all of them...yes, even Nicky Boy. The white outfits were awesome, but lately thats all the boy bands are wearing...why cant one band just wear all purple or green or sumthin?! anyways....
Its Gotta Be You
CAN WE SAY...KICK ASS SONG?! This song was an instant favorite. I love this song...yeah yeah, Ive said that about most of these songs, but go to hell alright? The chorus is cool even if Nick is singing it. Its the way he's singing it. Neat affect. I keep listenin to this one and number six...which by the way is next...
Dont Want You Back
Hee hee, Kevin sounds funny at the beginning. I (you can guess what word goes here) it!! Its also off beat. I mean in the good way. There is no steady beat. The proper word is syncopated. *yawn* Okay enough education shizzit. OH! And I even have a favorite part(s)!! Kev: Dont dont, want u back!!.....AJ: You saw my picture on the BackStreets Back (alright!) *LOL* That is damn funny! Angel and I laughed our asses off! We were CRYING cuz it was so funny! And there's one more part! AJ: Like all the 100, no, a thousand lies...!!! I love that part too! I hope they make a vid for this one. It's awesome. And I know you love it too. Okay...enough I say!
