First, an explanation of the title of this page. I frequent the message board at Susan's Place and one of the girls there calls me Miss Kitty. (It's an inside joke that's too long to explain.) So Elvira, credit goes to you for the title.

Hi, my name is Beverly Ann and in case you haven't figured it out yet, I am Transgendered. I'm not going to try to explain what that means; other more qualified people can do that. All I'm going to try and do here is give a little information about the gender community and of course, post the obligatory bio and pictures. Who said we don't like to show off. :-) Oh, one other thing that I'm very proud of. I am a member of the Southern Comfort Conference Planning Committe. We are the people who put together SCC, the largest gender conference in the world, held in Atlanta every September. If you are TG and have never been to SCC, you owe it to yourself to attend at least once.

I would like to dedicate this page to a number of people who in one way or another have helped me to find the gender community on the web, and to accept myself for who and what I am. With love to Chris Wells, founder of Above & Beyond, whose site was the first I found on the net, Kim B. whose site gave me the link to Southern Comfort , the beautiful Kerri Edwards whose site is both informative and funny, Beverly Christine Barnes for her wonderful friendship and love, and to Stefanie Schumacher for teaching me the meaning of the word courage and for her trust in me. Finally, to my best friend in the world, Dee, who also happens to be my spouse, for putting up with me for over 37 years (while remaining somewhat sane), for her love, acceptance and for almost forcing me to attend my first convention, realizing that it was something I needed to do. Thanks hon, I love you!
