The Unofficial Web Sites of the Philippine Air Force and Philippine Army that I have authored should not have been possible without the help and inspiration of friends many of which whose names I only know. It is just right that they received "The Honorable Mention" to thank them for their help and contributions.

Though not in chronological order, I would like to start with my sort of "brother-in-law,” Joey Powell. A.k.a. Speedbuggy, he is a computer whiz (he thinks! ! !)who helped introduced this computer thing I myself am into it now. As a "consultant" he would repair by programs when they go bananas and give me the proper consult of anything I need to ask him about computers. It’s nice to have him and I thank him a lot for helping me out. His fee for service is just "Coke in Can, or Cans" and with that, "you can't beat the feeling.” I'd like to thank also Philippine Air Force Major (could be LtColonel by now) Sonny Pena of the PMA Class 1983 who authored, may be the first PAF site to zooooom into the internet. I would like to say I was one of his first guests to visit it though there is no guest book to prove it. Likewise also to the PMA Class 1981 Air Force Chapter known affectionately as the "Dimalupig Air Force Pilots.” A band of ragtag military aviators that flew combat missions against the bad guys hold out in the jungles of Mindanao and elsewhere with their "tora-tora's" and Huey gunships. Two of them also flew Combat Air Patrol (CAP) missions with their Cobra tattooed F-5 jets against their fellow soldiers turned rebellious in the sea of clouds over EDSA during that revolution. Have they dropped their ordnance that fateful day of February 1986, and it was close to that, they could change the course of Philippine History forever. They are not only fighters but humorists that's if you've seen their web page, you would like to book marked it so you can keep up with their pace. Yep, they are fighters and entertainers born to be such. Their Class Home page is by far the best PMA Class web site ever as compared to their fellow "cavs" still in the "tulog" stage. Then, there is also Mr. Frank Suha, the web author of a Philippine Marines internet site. The best ever dedicated to the Philippine's "proud and few" because it's the only Philippine Marine site out there in the "net.” He helped flourish my web sites with photos and information I myself would not have any access with. Because of his contribution and that of Captain Alexis Noel, a PMA Class '89 member and a Gold Cross medal recipient, the birth of the Unofficial Philippine Army site was not that far in the making. Mr. Suha got books for sale wherein I bought one and he is never behind about any fresh AFP stuff out there coming into the world wide web. I have Scout Rangers "net" buddies to thank also. Now far away from the Philippines they call Home, up in the streets of Japan and California where they now roam. Names like Lt's Dale Aguirre, an ROTC'ian and Vincent Soberano, a 1986 PMA'yer both decorated combatants who jointly created the first web site about the Philippine Army's celebrated elites, the Scout Rangers . The black clad Philippine Government Soldiers in fatigues (not pajamas) dubbed to be the "greatest guerilla fighters of Asia" - and are proven so. And there is also this Simba AIFV thing that you can see in my PA site. Again, thanks to Mr. Frank Suha, (told you, he's always there), Mr. Guy Navarro and Lt. Dale. Because of them the request of visitors to "please give info and picture naman yun'g Simba" was granted. I'd like to thank also Mr. Richard Pagarigan for furnishing PAF F-8 photos for the PAF site. Likewise also to Alberto Anido and Brian Austria-Tomkins who both authored the Pictorial History of the Philippine Air Force. The book gifted to me which provided many information and photographs about the PAF. My gratitude also to Scramble for providing the Air Force Bases Map you all in the PAF site. Thanks also to Peter Binamira who allowed me to use some of his F-5 photos found in his FlightSims page soaring with PAF and PAL graphics.

Hold on! I got "girls" too. How about Mariel Duenas, another HTML writer conceiving the PMA Kaydet.net. Her associates, that regimental band of "femmes" has gave me "unlimited" inspiration to continue web writing. And off course there are those who Bravely signed the guest books in both sites. I have visitors who logged in from the young AFP Internet enthusiast to a Philippine Air Force Two-Star General and former (15th Strike) Wing Commander Rudy Estrellado, who also shares his memorabilia accessible through the keyboards.

What about Angelfire.com and Davesite? I am grateful for them in sponsoring the sites and helping my HTML skills respectively. Without them, like my "friends" that I have mentioned above, there is nothing to view out there. And the gallant stories (never mind the ungallant ones) of our grunts and airmen, and hopefully our sailors too will always remain the same. Heard only by Filipinos who buys the Philippine Daily Inquirer whom I am thankful also and the Tempo newspaper.

Last but not the least, is my family who has supported me also and at the very least is impressed. Now they know that I have a talent too.

And finally, the greatest thanks goes to the "BIG J,” "the Lord God Jesus Christ, " my Lord and Savior (and yours too if you want), who saved a wretch like me. He is the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the World. Happy am I invited to his banquet. He is, where my soul was anchored at the Haven of Rest. Gives me blessings and life to the fullest. And whom I can't thank enough for the blessings HE have bestowed upon me, my family, relatives and friends here and abroad. Blessings that I have asked, forgot to ask and did not even care to ask and gave it to me and my loved ones anyway.

These are just my own "proud and few,” and may be in the future will have more out there to come. I thanked GOD for them. Just like the Three Musketeers, We are all for one, and one for all. Writing about our AFP where no one has ever written it like this before.

These pages are a dedication to the men and women of the AFP - the Armed Forces of the Philippines. Those who are still here and those who have faded away. In a few lyrics, I would like to "borrow" the words in the epitaph that I read in front of the headquarters of the Western Police District (then with the INP) in Quezon City. "Manila's Finest" law enforcement officers.

" Go spread the word, tell the passers by, that in this little world, Soldiers of the Philippines know how to serve and die.”

Maraming salamat po, thank you and God bless you all . . .
